Construction
Hull:
Hand laid molded fiberglass sandwich construction with 3/4" Airex core. Solid fiberglass in sheer, chainplate area, keel and centerboard well.
Deck:
Sandwich construction with 3/4" balsa core equipment areas, which are reinforced with 3/4" marine plywood, and deck flange and coamings which are solid fiberglass.
Deck-Hull Joint:
Deck flange bonded with epoxy putty and bolted on 8" centers with 1/4" stainless steel bolts. Joint then fiberglassed inside and filled with Q-cell and epoxy resin.
Centerboard:
Solid fiberglass with 3" pin and stainless steel reinforcement around pivot.
Aft Cockpit:
Waterproof aft cockpit can be used as Jacuzzi or covered as lazarrette.
Rudder:
Molded fiberglass with 3" stainless steel rudder stock with stainless steel reinforcements in rudder.
Ballast :
For centerboard model, pre-cast lead fiberglassed in place for full keel model, one piece cast iron externally bolted with stainless steel bolts, with entire keel cased in fiberglass faired to hull
Mast Steps:
5/1" aluminum plate.
Chainplates:
1/2" stainless steel through-bolted and welded to stainless steel plates glassed into hull.
Bulkheads:
Marine grade plywood glassed to hull with through-holes in bulkhead every six inches to assure joint bonding.
Hatches:
Lewmar and Bowmar hatches with tinted Lexan and aluminum frames.
Electrical System
Main switch panel:
12 volt and 110 volt U.S. circuit breakers, each with voltage and amperage gauges, and indicator lights for generator, battery charger and pumps.
Batteries:
12 v.d.c. (4) 220 amp. hr. marine batteries plus (2) 105 amp. hr. main engine and generator starting batteries.
Lighting:
12 v.d.c. lights and 110 v.a.c. outlets
Generator:
15 kw. Ford Lehman
Shore power:
Hubble 240 v.a.c. 50 amp and 125 v.a.c. 30 amp shore power connectors.
Lightning protection:
Grounding system for shrouds, chainplates, stays, engine, mast step, rudder stock and seacocks.
Fans:
6 - 12 v.d.c. fans in cabins and galley.
Battery charger:
Pro-Mariner 80 amp. with battery divider.
Electrolysis system:
Bartell electrolysis control system with zinc plates and hull potential meter.
Running lights:
GUEST running, anchor and strobe lights.

Propulsion System
Main engine:
Ford Lehman 363 cu. in. (150 h.p.) 6 cylinder fresh water cooled turbo-charged diesel with Borg Warner hydraulic transmission. 60 amp. 12 volt alternator. Perko engine water intake filter.
Exhaust System:
Semi-dry stack water injection at riser.
Fuel System:
Stainless steel day tank with transfer pump. Three fuel tanks with total capacity of 645 gallons. Raycor fuel filter and water separator. Overboard fuel tank vents.
Engine Compartment:
Walk-in engine room, soundproofed with Blachord "lead-in-foam" sound absorption material. Work bench blower.
Plumbing System
Fresh Water:
Two molded fiberglass tanks with total capacity of approximately 1008 gallons.
Pressure System:
Two Par 12 v.d.c. fresh water pumps. Shore water connection with pressure regulator.
Heads:
Groco or Par "Commodore" mechanical heads with holding tanks and deck or overboard discharge system.
Bilge Pumps:
Manual Union 600 with two Rule 1750 electrical pumps.
Water Heater:
3 - 10 gallon water heaters operating on 110 v.a.c. and main engine heat exchangeer.
Spars & Rigging
Seatek or Le Fiell extruded aluminum spar with internal halyards and double spreaders. Boom has internal outhauls and topping lift Custom swaged stainless steel standing rigging. Jiffy reefing system. Shaeffer and NICO/FICO blocks. Lewmar track and travelers.
Galley
Gas Systems three burner propane stove with oven and two 20 lb. propane bottles and Marinetics switch.Norcold AC/DC refrigerator.Adler Barber AC/DC freezer system.Double stainless steel sink.Fresh and salt water foot pumps.Space for dishwasher, trash compactor and hot plate.
Interiors
Solid teak interior. Ducts for forced air ventilation and air conditioning. Marble sink tops. Teak and holly soles. Custom upholstery.
Sails
Main, mizzen, fore staysail, yankee jib. Jiffy reefing system on main and mizzen.
